Aparece casi al mismo momento del atardecer y se pone al amanecer. La Luna ha completado la mitad del mes lunar. Lamamos a esta etapa menguante. Cuando alcanza los tres cuartos del mes, la Luna nuevamente muestra una cara de su disco iluminada y la otra parte en oscuridad.
Esto es llamado Cuarto Menguante. Luego la Luna completa su ciclo y vuelve a la Luna Nueva. Mueve tus brazos suavemente desde la derecha a la izquierda.
